One of the remarkable representatives of the Moscow “Maslov” school, brother of the artist Alexander Stepanovich. He studied at the Leningrad Art and Industrial College (1924-1928) under M.P. Bobyshev and in Moscow with V.N. Meshkova. Participant of exhibitions since 1936. Exhibited works at the exhibition of a team of Polish artists in the Polish club in Moscow. The artist’s personal exhibition took place in 1974 in Moscow. Was a member of the Moscow Union of Artists. He worked as a painter and book illustrator. The work was exhibited at the All-Union exhibition of young artists dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Lenin Komsomol in 1939 in Moscow. Reproduced in the catalog (page 54).
