Zhdanov Alexander Pavlovich (1938, Veshenskaya, Rostov region - 2004, USA).

In 1974 he took part in the legendary Bulldozer Exhibition. Studied at the Art School named after M.B. Grekova in Rostov-on-Don, from where he was expelled four times. In 1987, he emigrated to the United States, having previously chained himself to a tree near the American embassy, as a sign of protest against the KGB decision, which did not allow him to leave the country.
