From November 14 through November 18, 2008 the new pre-auction exhibition “The Modern Arts” held exhibition at "SOVCOM" gallery. The exhibition is open every day from 10.00 to 20.00.

The purposes of the auction include the introduction of the widest possible range of the modern art works. It includes 130 lots and begins from the latest work by V. Ermilov who represented the constructionism, thus emphasizing the succession of the modern native art with the Russian avant-garde of early age. The lots of the greatest masters of the "second avant-garde" (V. Sitnikov, O. Rabin, E. Mikhnov-Voytenko, B. Sveshnikov, V. Yakovlev, E.Chubarov, V. Nemukhin and others) – is a selection of chamber, withal important works, related to the underground history. The auction includes the significant works of front men of the social art and the newest currents, such as V. Bakhchanyan, R. Lebedev, T. Novikov, S. Bugaev (Africa), D. Vrubel, K. Zvezdochetov, K. Latyshev, K. Batynkov and others; and also works of the young artists, which are very interesting to the modern art-scene.
