The exhibition "Fun Holidays" is open from the 1st of July until the 31st of August.
Summer is everyone's favorite time of the year—both for children and adults. It’s a season of vacations, holidays, relaxation, and travel. However, those who are staying in the city for the summer don’t need to worry, as Sovcom Gallery has prepared an exhibition “Fun Holidays".
The exhibition will take visitors on a journey—from Venice, that was captured by P.N. Krylov and M.V. Kupriyanov, to the vibrant Havana of P.P. Ossovsky, and the sunny landscapes of Uzbekistan in the works of N.G. Karakhan and M.A. Birstein.
The Black Sea is not only a beloved vacation spot but also a source of inspiration for many Russian artists. The exhibition features large-scale paintings inspired by the beauty of the Crimean coast, including works by B.V. Volkov, K.A. Prokhorov, V.D. Bernadsky, V.A. Nechaeva, and I.V. Radoman.
The homeland landscapes can be admired in the works of People's Artists of the USSR such as A.A. Plastov, B.V. Shcherbakov, N.M. Romadin, V.M. Sidorov, A.A. Mylnikov and M.G. Abakumov, as well as in the vibrant paintings of representatives of the Vladimir School of Painting.
The exhibition also showcases unique graphic works by the illustrators of children’s books including V.D. Pivovarov, A.F. Pakhomov, K.S. Eliseev, and V.V. Lebedev.
The exhibition is open from the 1st of July until the 31st of August 2025.
