Descripton: Sketch for the work: paper, pencil, 71x50.5. The painting comes from the collection of the artist N.P. Chertenkova (1917-2007). In the lower left corner there is a signature and title: “V.N. Meshkov (1867-1946) / During the Intermission / 1932.” In the upper left corner there is a label: "V.N. Meshkov 189 -1946. During the intermission of the Moscow Art Theater - 1932 / On the left is V.I. Kachalov. / Above the North Pole." The painting depicts the famous Russian actor V.I. Kachalov (1875-1948), one of the first People's Artists of the USSR (1936).
